- Bill usage analysis to design your system
- Quality components only
- Compliant, overseen installation
Residential Solar Consulting
We analyse your actual power bills — monthly and quarterly — to design a solar system that genuinely matches how your household uses energy. No oversized systems. No underperforming installs.
Get free residential adviceBill analysis first — system design second
Before we recommend anything, we review your quarterly and monthly power bills to map your household’s real usage patterns. We identify when you use the most energy — mornings, evenings, weekends — and what time-of-use tariff you’re on. This forms the foundation of every system we design.
A solar system designed around your actual data will consistently outperform one sized by rule-of-thumb. We look at your daily kWh consumption, peak demand periods, and seasonal variation to specify the right panel count, inverter size, and orientation — not just the largest system that fits your roof.
Solar-only or solar with battery — designed together
If your bill analysis shows significant evening usage or high grid draw after sunset, we’ll model whether adding battery storage makes financial sense for your situation. We design solar and battery systems together from the start — not as an afterthought — so the inverter, battery chemistry, and panel array are properly matched.
We’ll show you the payback period for both options so you can make an informed decision without pressure.
Quality components — specified, not substituted
We specify the brands and models upfront: tier-1 panels, quality inverters (Fronius, Sungrow, SolarEdge or equivalent), and proven Australian-warrantied products. Installers in our network quote on exactly what we’ve specified — no substitutions without approval. You know precisely what’s going on your roof before anyone starts drilling.
Compliant installation, independently overseen
All installations in our network are carried out by CEC-accredited electricians. We review the completed installation against Australian Standards (AS/NZS 5033, AS 4777) and the agreed scope — checking cable management, earthing, labelling, switchboard work, and inverter commissioning. We won’t sign off until it’s right.

Commercial Solar Consulting
Commercial solar requires a level of analysis that most installers skip. We start with in-depth load interval data — 30-minute interval readings from your smart meter — to ensure every dollar of your system investment targets real savings.
Get free commercial adviceLoad interval data analysis — the commercial difference
A residential power bill tells you monthly totals. For commercial, that’s not enough. We obtain your 30-minute interval data from your energy retailer or network provider, giving us a granular picture of exactly when your business consumes energy and at what level across every half-hour of every day.
This data is the foundation of a properly sized commercial solar system. Without it, you risk a system that overproduces during low-demand periods (wasted as low-rate feed-in) and underperforms when demand charges hit. We size for your actual load profile — not an average.
Demand charge and peak period optimisation
Many commercial tariffs include demand charges — based on your highest 30-minute consumption in a billing period. Solar that offsets the right periods can dramatically reduce these charges. We identify your peak demand windows from the interval data and design the system specifically to address them.
We also model battery storage where interval data shows consistent evening or overnight loads, or where demand charge shaving with storage produces a compelling ROI.
Commercial-grade components only
We specify commercial-grade inverters, monitoring platforms, and panel products rated for the load and environment of your site — whether that’s a warehouse roof, a shaded car park, or a multi-level commercial building. Three-phase systems, string vs. optimised vs. micro-inverter configurations, and tilt/azimuth optimisation are all assessed against your interval load data.
Compliance, grid connection & sign-off
Commercial systems require additional grid connection documentation, design sign-off, and in many cases engineering certification. We manage this process end-to-end — coordinating with your DNSPs, ensuring AS/NZS 4777.2 compliance, and reviewing completed installations against the approved design. We don’t consider a project complete until the system is commissioned, monitored, and performing to spec.

Battery Storage Consulting
The right battery size is determined by your data — not a sales brochure. Whether you’re adding storage to an existing solar system or starting fresh, we size every system on real consumption and export figures.
Existing solar system — analyse before you add
If you already have solar, the data you need already exists. We pull your consumption and export history — typically from your inverter monitoring portal or smart meter interval data — to establish exactly how much of your solar generation you’re already self-consuming versus exporting to the grid at low feed-in rates.
This tells us precisely what battery capacity would actually be used day-to-day, preventing the common mistake of purchasing oversized storage that never fully cycles. We model the correct capacity, chemistry, and charge/discharge profile for your specific usage pattern.
New solar and battery — designed together from the start
For households or businesses installing solar and battery together, we design the full system as an integrated package — not solar now and battery later. Panel count, inverter type, battery capacity, and hybrid inverter compatibility are all specified together, ensuring no mismatches in voltage windows, charge rates, or warranty conditions.
We use your monthly and quarterly bill data to model your load profile and size both the solar array and battery bank to maximise self-sufficiency without oversizing either component.
Commercial battery storage — interval data essential
For commercial battery installations, we apply the same 30-minute interval data analysis used in our commercial solar service. Battery sizing for a commercial site depends on understanding your demand peaks, overnight loads, and the interplay between solar generation and consumption across the full operating day — data that only interval readings can reveal.
We model demand charge shaving, time-of-use arbitrage, and backup power scenarios to identify the configuration that delivers the fastest ROI for your business.
Quality batteries, properly installed
We only recommend batteries with strong Australian warranties, proven field performance, and local technical support — products like Tesla Powerwall, BYD Battery-Box, Sungrow SBR, and Alpha-ESS. Cheaper imported alternatives with short warranties and no local support are not part of our recommendation set.
Every battery installation is reviewed for compliance with AS/NZS 5139 (battery installations) and the manufacturer’s installation requirements. We check enclosure ratings, cabling, fusing, and commissioning documentation before sign-off.
